The PFAFF® 1/4 Inch Right Guide Foot is designed to help you achieve precise and consistent 1/4″ seams when piecing fabric or topstitching. This foot ensures accuracy by keeping the fabric edge aligned perfectly with the right guide, making your sewing projects look professional and polished.

How to Use for Piecing:
Snap on the 1/4″ Right Guide Foot.
Engage the IDT™ system.
Select a straight stitch.
Place the fabric pieces right sides together under the presser foot with the guide aligned at the edge of the fabric.
Sew the blocks together, keeping the fabric edge touching the right guide for perfect seams.
How to Use for Topstitching:
Snap on the 1/4″ Right Guide Foot.
Engage the IDT™ system.
Select a straight stitch, triple straight stitch, or the hand-look straight stitch quilting stitch.
Place the quilt under the presser foot with the flange guide positioned in the seam ditch or at the fabric block edge.
Sew around the block to achieve a perfect 1/4″ topstitch distance from every edge.
Important Note:
When using any 1/4″ Right Guide Foot with the IDT™ system on machines with manual presser foot lift, avoid raising the presser foot to the extra-high position. Doing so may cause the needle holder to contact the guide, potentially damaging your machine. With the needle down, lift the presser foot only as much as necessary to pivot and turn the fabric freely.
