Time: approx.  0.5 – 1h including preparation and cutting (depending on yor level of advancement)

Difficulty level: 1

Materials: any good elastic fabric

You will prepare the pattern yourself, remember that the ribbed/welt fabric is usually very stretchy, so  take it into account and after measuring the head circumference, deduct a few cm from it – this will be the width of the rectangle to be cut. Its length is the width of head circumference – 5/6 cm. After calculating the rectangle’s dimensions, divide the width by 6 and draw six equal segments along the edges. Then, divide them in half and draw a triangle on this basis (there should be a total of six).
This is how your hand-made pattern should look like:

1. Cutting

2. How to sew the triangles together?

Sew three triangles, starting from the edges, to get the shape as shown in the image below:

3. Sew all the pieces together.

After sewing three triangles from the edge, the shape should be exactly as shown above:

Now fold it with the right side inward along the long side, pin it and sew it, leaving a hole closer to the tip of one of the parts

4. After sewing, just turn the cap inside out and put one part into the other and it’s ready!
