The Clearance Plate is a handy accessory designed to create a thread shank when sewing buttons in place, allowing the button to sit properly and securely on your garment. Each end of the plate has a different thickness, offering options for more or less thread shank depending on your project needs. Additionally, it can be used to balance the height of the presser foot when sewing over bulky seams.
How to Use:
Place the Clearance Plate between the button and the fabric.
Follow your usual button sewing instructions to stitch the button securely in place.
