HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Closed Free Motion Spring Foot
The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Closed Free Motion Spring Foot is designed to provide excellent visibility and control during free motion quilting or sewing. Its closed, rounded shape prevents threads or fabric from getting caught under the foot, while vertical and horizontal markings serve as useful guides for precise stitching. The spring action helps keep the fabric steady by preventing it from lifting with the needle as stitches form, reducing the risk of thread breakage, especially when using specialty or heavier threads.

This presser foot is compatible with HUSQVARNA® VIKING® machine groups 5, 6, and 7.

How to Use:
Loosen and remove the presser foot ankle screw. Attach the Closed Free Motion Spring Foot around the presser bar and secure it with the screw.
Tip: Lower the needle slightly to help position the metal guide correctly on the needle clamp.

Thread your machine with the desired sewing thread.

Select the center needle position and straight stitch.

Set your machine to Free Motion Spring Action mode, which automatically drops the feed dogs.
Note: When the feed dogs are dropped, the fabric is no longer fed by the machine; you must manually move the fabric.

Bring the bobbin thread to the top by taking one stitch. Hold both threads and sew a few stitches in place to secure the start.

Maintain a consistent sewing speed and move the fabric smoothly to create the stitch length. Use the red markings on the foot to guide your stitching.

Please mention your machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
