Recommended Fabrics:
Natural fibers such as wool, wool roving, and other textured or napped surfaces offer the best results. Avoid synthetic fabrics with smooth, “wash and wear” finishes, as they may not felt properly. Always test on a sample before starting your project.
Hooping Guidelines:
Do not use thread when embroidering with felting needles.
Hoop fabric with the right side facing down.
For free-standing embroidery or when using wool roving, use a water-soluble stabilizer.
