HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Specialty Bobbin Case (8, 9)

Create beautiful bobbin work, also known as reversed decorative stitch embroidery, using the HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Specialty Bobbin Case. This accessory is ideal for working with specialty or heavier threads, allowing you to achieve rich textures and unique effects from the bobbin side of the fabric.
How to Use:
Lower the feed teeth, remove the stitch plate, and replace the standard bobbin case with the Specialty Bobbin Case. Slide the stitch plate back and raise the feed teeth.
Depending on the type of decorative thread used:
For heavy or specialty threads: Wind the bobbin slowly with the logo facing out. Insert with logo facing up. Adjust bobbin tension if needed.
For textured or bulky yarns: Wind by hand clockwise. Bypass bobbin tension. Do not use the thread cutter—insert thread directly into the bypass slot.
Use regular sewing thread on the top. Use B or S foot and the appropriate needle for your fabric.
Place the fabric face-down with tear-away stabilizer on top. Select open stitches (zigzag, straight, or decorative), increase stitch length, and test on scrap fabric before starting your project.
Tips:
Use slower sewing speed for better control
Increase top thread tension if needed
The thicker the thread, the longer the stitch length
