This PFAFF® Twin Universal Needle is designed specifically for creating parallel double stitches on lightweight stretch fabrics. With a rounded tip, the needle glides through elastic materials like jersey, Lycra®, and stretch cottons without damaging the fabric structure.
The 2.5mm spacing between the twin needles allows for precise, evenly spaced stitching, making it ideal for hemming, decorative topstitching, and professional-looking finishes on activewear and stretch garments. Compatible with most domestic sewing machines that allow twin needle functionality.
To ensure best sewing results and protect both fabric and thread quality, it’s recommended to replace the needle every 6 to 8 hours of sewing or when switching fabric types.
