When going on holiday, you need some cosmetics and other stuff.
Here is a pattern for easy-to-make foldable toiletry bag.
Time: about 2 – 2.5 h including preparation and cutting (depending on your level of advancement)
Difficulty level: 3
Materials: waterproof polyester, nylon, cordura, possibly a clothing mesh / other thin material for the pocket and plastic sheet for the second pocket, zipper per metre

1. The pattern for a toiletry bag:

The dimensions can be whatever you like, just remember that it should be a rectangle with rounded corners.
The pockets should be of such size that they do not interfere with the folding of the cosmetic bag.
Cutting:
- large rectangle – basic part x2
- pockets x1

Round the corners

All pockets and zippers prepared for sewing

2. The bottom pocket made of the basic fabric will be large, so you need to make darts in the rounded corners

Sew a zipper to it and sew the whole thing to one of the basic rectangles.

3. After sewing on the first lower pocket, sew the middle pocket (made of a clothing mesh)

4. Then sew the third plastic pocket, of course, the zipper needs to be sewn to it first.

5. Now put the second rectangle on the other side of the basic rectangle so that the left sides touch inwards, fasten and trim around with a trimming made of the same fabric (if the fabric is too short to trim the whole rectangle, join the strips together into a long trimming).

Remember to put a loop made of round rubber under the trimming on one of the shorter edges, because it will be a “fastener” for a rolled up cosmetic bag.

Now sew on the trimming along the entire length and it’s ready! Put on the elastic band an adjuster that will allow you to adjust the clamp.

And this is how the finished toiletry bag looks like:
