HUSQVARNA® VIKING® 3 mm Shell Rolled Hem Foot
The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® 3 mm Shell Rolled Hem Foot is designed to create delicate, narrow 3 mm rolled hems with a beautiful shell-shaped edge. It is perfect for finishing sheer and very lightweight fabrics often used in evening wear, lingerie, scarves, and other fine garments. The foot’s unique design allows the fabric edge to be neatly rolled and stitched in one smooth motion, giving a professional and elegant finish.
This foot is compatible with HUSQVARNA® VIKING® machine groups 1 through 9, except for EMERALD™ 122, 118, 116 machines, and EDEN ROSE™ 250M, TRIBUTE™ 140M, 145M models.
How to Use:
Set your machine to a zigzag stitch with length 10.0 and width between 4 and 6.
Snap on the 3 mm Shell Rolled Hem Foot.
Press a rolled hem (matching the tunnel width on the underside of the foot) into the first inch of fabric.
Place the hem under the presser foot and sew several stitches along the edge.
Stop with the needle down in the fabric, raise the presser foot, and gently pull the fabric edge up into the foot’s scroll or guide.
Lower the presser foot and continue sewing without forcing the fabric; let the foot roll the fabric edge naturally.
