HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Adjustable 1/4″ Foot with Guide for IDF System (9)
The Adjustable 1/4” Foot with Guide for IDF System is designed to help you sew precise 1/4” (6 mm) or scant 1/4” seams, ideal for piecing in quilting and sewing projects. Its oval-shaped needle hole allows easy adjustment of the needle position, giving you flexibility to create either a full 1/4” seam or a slightly narrower seam. The distance from the center needle position to the guide is exactly 1/4” (6 mm), and red markings on the foot aid in fabric alignment when starting to sew, navigating corners, and finishing edges. This foot is also excellent for topstitching, allowing you to adjust the needle position and use the guide for perfect stitch placement on garments, blocks, or home décor.
Compatible with HUSQVARNA® VIKING® machine group 9.

How to Use for Piecing:
Snap on the Adjustable 1/4” Foot with Guide.
Select a straight stitch.
a. For a 1/4” seam, choose the centered needle position.
b. For a scant 1/4” seam, move the needle one or two steps to the right.
Place fabric pieces right sides together under the foot, aligning edges with the guide.
Sew while keeping fabric edges against the guide.
Press the seam allowance.
Note: Needle position may need adjusting depending on fabric and thread. You can move the needle safely up to three steps right or left to adjust seam width.
Do not use the straight stitch plate when using this foot.
How to Use for Topstitching:
Snap on the Adjustable 1/4” Foot with Guide.
Select straight stitch, triple straight stitch, or mock hand quilting stitch. Adjust needle position if needed.
Place the project under the foot so the guide runs in the seam ditch or along fabric edge, then sew.
