The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Beading Foot is the perfect tool for adding elegant and decorative embellishments to your garments, accessories, and craft projects. It is specially designed to guide strings of beads or pearls through a built-in channel on the underside of the foot, allowing for precise and consistent stitching.
Whether you’re working on eveningwear, bridal garments, dance costumes, or home décor accents, this foot ensures a smooth application of beads or pearls directly onto the edge or fold of your fabric.
How to Use:
Set your overlock machine for the desired stitch.
Pull the bead or pearl string through the channel underneath the foot.
Snap the Beading Foot onto the machine.
Turn the handwheel manually to sew the first couple of stitches and secure the beads in place.
Continue sewing, guiding the fabric and beads along the edge or fold.
You can sew the beads right along the fabric’s edge while trimming a small amount of excess, or sew along a fold without cutting.
Note: The needle should pierce the fabric about ⅝” (1.5 mm) from the edge for optimal results.
