HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Edge / Joining Foot (1–8)
The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Edge / Joining Foot is a highly versatile presser foot designed for precise edge stitching, topstitching, and decorative joining of trims. It helps achieve clean, professional-looking results with consistent spacing, whether you’re sewing straight edges or attaching trims side by side.
The built-in center guide keeps fabric or trims aligned while you stitch, making it easy to create decorative seams, hemmed edges, or even attach narrow lace or ribbons. This foot is perfect for both utility and decorative applications.

How to Use:
Edge Stitching:
Snap on the Edge/Joining Foot. Place the edge of your fabric against the foot’s center flange. Select a straight stitch with center or left needle position and a length between 2–4. Stitch while guiding the fabric along the flange.
Topstitching on a Marked Line:
Align the flange of the foot with your marked seam or design line. Adjust needle position if necessary to create a perfectly placed row of stitches.
Joining Fabric or Trims:
Select a 3-step zigzag or bridging stitch (length 2–3, width 4–7). Place two pieces of fabric or trim—one on each side of the flange. Sew while keeping both sides gently pressed against the guide.
This foot allows for accurate, decorative stitching between two fabric pieces, lace edges, or ribbons without puckering or shifting.
