HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Mega Piping Presser Foot

The Mega Piping Presser Foot is specially designed for inserting large or thick piping into seams or along edges, giving your home decor and upholstery projects a clean, tailored finish. It can be snapped to the left or right of the needle, allowing you to both create and insert piping, as well as topstitch alongside it with ease.
This foot also allows you to create your own custom piping using your choice of fabric and cording, making it ideal for coordinating or accenting your sewing projects.

Instructions Overview:
To make piping:
Attach the foot on the right side of the needle.
Cut bias fabric strips wide enough to wrap around the cord.
Wrap the fabric around the cording and position it under the foot.
Place the cord to the left of the foot and use a left needle position straight stitch to sew.
Tip: When attaching this piping to your project, shift the needle one step closer to the cord to hide the first stitching.
To insert piping into a seam:
Attach the foot to the right side of the needle.
Place the piping on the seam line and stitch with the cord to the left of the foot.
Lay the second fabric piece on top, right sides together.
Sew with the same settings.
Tip: Clip the seam allowance around curves to reduce bulk.
Topstitching:
Attach the foot to the left side of the needle. Fold the seam open and stitch along the piping for a clean finish.
