PFAFF® 2 mm Rolled Hem Foot

Create crisp, professional rolled hems with ease using the PFAFF® 2 mm Rolled Hem Foot. Designed specifically for medium-weight fabrics, this foot helps you achieve a narrow 2 mm hem in one smooth step—perfect for delicate garments, table linens, scarves, and other projects where a fine finish is desired.
The special scroll on the front of the foot automatically rolls the fabric edge under as you sew, eliminating the need for pre-ironing or double-folding the hem manually. At the same time, the groove underneath the foot holds the rolled edge securely in place, ensuring consistent stitching and even results.
This foot is ideal for fabrics such as cotton, poplin, lightweight denim, rayon, and blends. Whether you’re sewing straight hems or gently curved edges, the PFAFF® 2 mm Rolled Hem Foot helps you achieve smooth, elegant hems with minimal effort.
How to Use:
Select a straight stitch. Attach the 2 mm Rolled Hem Foot and engage the IDT™ system (if your machine has it).
If needed, press the starting edge of your fabric to match the width of the rolled hem (2 mm) and place it flat in the groove under the foot. Sew a few securing stitches.
Lower the needle into the fabric to hold it, then raise the presser foot and guide the fabric edge into the scroll at the front of the foot.
Lower the foot again and continue sewing while gently guiding the fabric edge up and into the scroll.
Make sure the fabric does not slip under the right half of the foot, as this can affect the quality of the hem.
