This foot eliminates the need to pre-iron fabric edges, saving you valuable time while ensuring professional results. It is perfect for sewing garments, lightweight home decor items, and other projects where a neat narrow hem is desired.

How to Use:
Select a straight stitch on your machine, attach the Rolled Hem Foot, and engage the IDT™ system if available on your machine.
If necessary, lightly press the beginning of the fabric edge to approximately 4 mm wide to help guide it into the hemmer scroll.
Place the fabric edge flat into the groove under the presser foot and sew a few stitches to secure it.
Lower the needle into the fabric to hold it in place.
Raise the presser foot and gently pull the cut edge of the fabric into the scroll of the hemmer, ensuring the fabric is held taut but not stretched.
Lower the presser foot and continue sewing, holding the fabric edge up in front of the foot to guide it smoothly through the scroll.
Avoid letting the fabric run under the right half of the presser foot, as this may cause uneven stitching or puckering.
Tips for Best Results:
Use a straight stitch for crisp, woven fabrics to achieve a sharp and clean hem edge.
For soft or stretch fabrics, use a narrow zigzag stitch that gently encases the hem without stretching or distorting the fabric.
This foot is not recommended for sharply curved edges, as the fabric may not roll evenly.
