The PFAFF® 5/8” Quilt Binder makes it easy to add a professional, durable binding to your quilting and sewing projects. Designed to create a ⅝” (16 mm) double-fold binding using 3” (75 mm) wide fabric strips folded lengthwise, this binder mimics the look and strength of hand-applied binding.

Usage Instructions:
Attach the Quilt Binder Foot and engage the IDT™ system.
Mount the binder and attachment plate onto your machine.
Feed 3” wide fabric strips (wrong side facing you) through the metal guide to form double-fold tape.
Sew using a straight stitch or hand-look quilt stitch.
For corners, remove the quilt from the binder and manually form a mitered corner before resuming.
Finish by overlapping the beginning and end of the binding, folding, and sewing the final seam neatly.
