The PFAFF® Blind Hem Foot is designed for sewing invisible hems with precision and ease. How to Use:
Set your admire™ 1000 overlock machine for the desired stitch.
Snap on the Blind Hem Foot.
Fold and press your hem in place. Then, turn the hem back toward the right side, leaving approx. ¼” (6 mm) of fabric edge exposed.
Place the hem under the foot with the fold aligned to the foot’s guide.
Adjust the guide screw so the needle catches only a thread from the fold.
Guide the fabric steadily while sewing, keeping the fold aligned to the guide.
After sewing, unfold the fabric and press lightly from the wrong side.
Always test on a scrap piece of fabric before starting your actual project.
This foot is ideal for formalwear, curtains, and projects where visible stitching is not desired.
