PFAFF® Blindhem & Lace Foot

The PFAFF® Blindhem & Lace Foot is ideal for sewing invisible hems and applying lace trims with professional precision. It allows you to sew, overcast, and trim the hem in one easy step, making your sewing projects neat and durable. This foot is compatible with coverlock™ 4.0, 3.0, hobbylock™ 2.5, and admire™ air 7000 machines.

How to Use:

Blindhem:

Set your overlock machine to the desired stitch.

Snap on the Blindhem Foot.

Fold and press the hem in place. Turn the hem back on itself toward the right side of the fabric, leaving approximately ¼ inch (6 mm) of the edge exposed.

Place the hem under the foot with the fold resting against the guide on the foot.

Loosen the guide screw to adjust the guide so the needle just catches the thread of the fold.

Guide the fabric as you sew, ensuring the fold stays against the guide throughout.

Open the fabric and press lightly on the wrong side.

Test on a scrap piece of fabric before starting your project.

Lace Application:

Set your overlock machine to the desired stitch.

Snap on the Blindhem Foot.

Position the wrong side of the lace against the right side of the fabric.

Place the lace and fabric under the foot, with the fabric extending to the right of the guide and the header of the lace against the left side of the guide.

Loosen the guide screw to adjust the guide so the needle just catches the lace header.

Guide the fabric as you sew, keeping the lace header against the guide at all times.

When finished, open the lace flat, fold the seam allowance to the back, and press.

For insertion lace, repeat the process on the other side.

Please mention your machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
