PFAFF® Corded Wavy Edge Foot
The PFAFF® Corded Wavy Edge Foot is designed to easily sew a decorative wavy edge, creating a softly ruffled, elegant finish. This foot is ideal for delicate projects such as bridal veils, figure skating costumes, ballet skirts, crafts, and more, adding a beautiful touch to your work.
Note:
For best results, use fabrics with stretch. If working with non-stretch fabrics, it is recommended to cut the fabric on the bias for optimal effect.
How to Use:
Set your machine for a 3-thread rolled edge stitch.
Snap the Corded Wavy Edge Foot onto your machine.
Insert a 0.3 mm nylon fishing line (or similar cord) into the opening in the foot. The fishing line will be covered by the rolled edge as you sew.
Sew slowly at the beginning, ensuring the fishing line remains hidden within the rolled edge throughout the process.
Tip:
Using 40 wt. rayon embroidery threads in contrasting colors in the upper and lower loopers will create a shiny, colorful edge for added visual appeal.
