The PFAFF® Dynamic Spring Foot (L) is an excellent accessory for embroidery, precision sewing, quilting, free-motion stitching, and stippling. It provides a clear and unobstructed view of your work area, allowing for precise stitching and perfect control over your sewing or embroidery projects.
This foot features a unique spring action that prevents the fabric from lifting with the needle as stitches are formed, ensuring consistently superior and even results. When sewing or embroidering, the presser foot moves up and down with the needle, which helps balance the tension between the top thread and the bobbin thread for a flawless finish.
For free-motion sewing, the Dynamic Spring Foot lets you manually guide the fabric under the foot while the feed dogs drop automatically when the foot is set in the correct mode. This gives you full control over stitch length and direction, making it ideal for creative quilting and detailed embroidery designs.
How to use:
Disengage the IDT™ system and carefully loosen the small screw on the back of the presser foot holder.
Squeeze the Dynamic Spring Foot together and guide its pin into the cross-hole of the presser foot holder. The arm of the foot should be placed behind the needle screw.
Tighten the screw securely.
Thread your machine as usual.
Set the machine to Dynamic Spring Foot 6D mode; the feed dogs will drop automatically.
This foot is compatible with L group machines.
