Easily Insert Elastic While You Sew
This foot is designed specifically for the admire™ 1000 Overlock Machine and makes inserting narrow elastic into garments simple and precise. It guides and stretches the elastic evenly as you sew it to the fabric, which is ideal for making activewear, lingerie, children’s clothing, and any project requiring elastic insertion.

Holds and stretches elastic from 6 mm to approx. 12 mm as you sew
Perfect for curved seams or straight applications
Ensures even distribution of elastic for consistent results
Allows tension adjustments to control the amount of stretch
How to Use:
Set your overlock machine for the desired stitch.
Loosen the screw on the front of the Elastic Foot to reduce roller tension.
Insert the elastic through the opening in the foot.
Snap on the foot and pull the elastic so it extends slightly behind the presser foot.
Tighten the tension screw to control the amount of stretch.
Turn the handwheel to sew a few starter stitches.
Place your fabric under the foot and begin sewing both the elastic and fabric together.
Adjust tension as needed to ensure smooth and even gathering.
Tip:
Turn the tension screw to the right to increase elastic stretch.
Turn it to the left to decrease it.
Avoid stretching the fabric while sewing to maintain accurate results.
