PFAFF® Elastic Foot

The PFAFF® Elastic Foot is designed to guide and stretch narrow elastic bands (¼–½ inch / 6–12 mm) as you sew them onto fabric. This foot is ideal for sewing activewear, lingerie, and other projects involving elastic insertion, ensuring a smooth, even stretch and professional finish.

How to Use:

Set your overlock machine to the desired stitch.

Loosen the screw at the front of the Elastic Foot to release tension on the roller and insert the elastic into the foot.

Snap the foot onto the machine and pull the elastic until it reaches behind the foot.

Tighten the tension screw to achieve the desired stretch on the elastic.

Turn the handwheel to sew the first few stitches, securing the elastic in place.

Position the fabric under the foot and sew both the elastic and fabric together.

Check the stitch and adjust the tension as necessary for optimal results.

Note:
To adjust the elastic stretch:

Turn the tension screw to the right for more stretch.

Turn the screw to the left for less stretch.

Be careful not to stretch the fabric while sewing.

Please mention your machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
