PFAFF® Free-Motion Echo Quilting Foot
Machine Compatibility: J, L
(Except EXPRESSION™ 3.5, 3.2, 3.0, 2.0, 150)
The PFAFF® Free-Motion Echo Quilting Foot is designed to give you enhanced control and precision during free-motion quilting. Its large base ensures excellent surface contact with the fabric, allowing better control of your stitching and providing 360° visibility of your work area. The foot features vertical, horizontal, and circular markings that help you easily follow continuous lines, quilting patterns, or fabric designs. This allows you to sew straight lines or follow rounded patterns in any direction with confidence and accuracy.
How to Use:
Disengage the IDT™ system.
Loosen the presser foot ankle screw completely and remove the ankle.
Attach the Free-Motion Echo Quilting Foot around the presser bar using the included screw.
Thread your machine.
Select a straight stitch.
Set your PFAFF® machine to Sensormatic free-motion mode. The feed dogs will drop automatically, so you must manually move the fabric.
Bring the bobbin thread to the top by taking one stitch and hold both threads to sew a few stitches in place.
Maintain consistent speed and move the fabric smoothly to control stitch length.
Quilt around motifs, appliqués, or fabric patterns while keeping a uniform distance to outline shapes.
Stitch additional rows, using the red markings on the foot to keep spacing even.
Repeat to achieve the desired quilting effect.
Note: At low speeds in Sensormatic free-motion mode, the presser foot will raise and lower with each stitch to hold the fabric, while at higher speeds it floats over the fabric for smooth sewing.
Please mention your PFAFF® machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
