PFAFF® Join and Fold Edging Foot for IDT™ System

The PFAFF® Join and Fold Edging Foot is perfect for adding lace, embroidered trims, or contrasting fabrics to your projects using elegant 9 mm stitches. Whether you’re making lingerie, handkerchiefs, or decorative table linens, this foot guides both the edging and the folded base fabric into place and stitches them together in one smooth step. It ensures precision and beauty in every seam.
How to Use:
Thread your machine with standard or decorative thread on top and regular thread in the bobbin.
Select your desired stitch. For example, use a straight stitch with a 4 mm twin needle or a right-justified wide decorative stitch. Avoid stitches with excessive backward motion.
Fold a ¼” (6 mm) hem to the wrong side of the base fabric and press it.
With right sides up, insert the base fabric into the left guide and the edging into the right guide, feeding both into the foot before attaching it to the machine.
Ensure both fabric and trim move smoothly through the guides.
Snap on the Join and Fold Edging Foot.
Engage the IDT™ system.
Sew slowly and guide the fabric with your left hand and the edging with your right hand for the best results.
