PFAFF® Open-Toe Appliqué Foot for IDT™ System
A Clear View of Your Working Area

The PFAFF® Open-Toe Appliqué Foot is designed to give you excellent visibility when performing appliqué or other precision stitching techniques. Its open toe design ensures an unobstructed view of your needle area, allowing for better control and accuracy—especially around curves, corners, or layered fabrics.

This foot is ideal for decorative stitching, appliqué work, and any technique where clear guidance and edge-following are critical. The IDT™ system (if available on your machine) helps feed the fabric evenly from both the top and bottom.

How to Use:

Cut your appliqué pieces to shape—either without seam allowance or with the seam pressed under using a template (recommended for fray-prone fabrics).

Iron paper-backed fusible web onto your design. Remove the paper and press the appliqué onto the base fabric.

Attach the Open-Toe Appliqué Foot for IDT™ System.

Select your desired stitch (such as a satin or blanket stitch).

Guide the edge of your appliqué along the right inner edge of the foot for a consistent seam.

Use the mirror function if needed to position the stitch precisely.

The clear visibility and accurate positioning help create a hand-sewn look by hiding the straight stitch in the seam’s shadow.

Compatible with machine groups: F, G, J, K, L

Please mention your machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
