PFAFF® Open Toe Free-Motion Foot
For Sewing and Quilting

The PFAFF® Open Toe Free-Motion Foot features an extra-large opening in the front, providing an optimal view for free-motion sewing and quilting. This foot allows you to see your work clearly, making it easier to guide the fabric precisely.

How to Use:

Disengage the IDT™ system.

Carefully loosen the small silver screw on the back of the presser foot holder until the crosshole is accessible.

Gently squeeze the presser foot and guide the pin of the foot into the crosshole of the presser foot holder as far as it will go. Make sure the clear arm is above the needle clamp.

Tighten the silver screw securely.

Lower the Open Toe Free-Motion Foot into the free-motion/darning position by selecting the free-motion icon on your machine’s touch screen or manually setting the presser foot lifter to the free-motion position.

Lower the feed dogs.

Select a straight stitch or zigzag stitch.

Move your fabric manually at an even speed to create stitches.

Note: Because the feed dogs are lowered, you must manually move the fabric. For even stitches, maintain a smooth, steady motion.

Compatible with machine groups: J, L

Please mention your machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
