PFAFF® Pintuck Blade
Compatibility: PFAFF® machines in groups J, K, L
The Pintuck Blade is designed to enhance your pintucks by raising the fabric during sewing, making the tucks higher and more pronounced. This blade attaches to your machine’s needle plate, providing a classic and professional look to your sewing projects. For heavier fabrics, it is recommended to use the Five-Groove Pintuck Foot together with the large Pintuck Blade.
How to Use:
Attach the desired Pintuck Foot to your machine.
Snap the round knob of the Pintuck Blade into the round hole on the stitch plate with the blade pointing toward the needle. Insert a 1.6 mm to 2.0 mm twin needle into the machine.
Mark or draw lines on the fabric where you want the pintucks. Position the line at the center of the presser foot. Sew at a slightly slower speed, guiding the fabric gently. The Pintuck Blade will raise the fabric center to create defined pintucks. (Pull fabric taut gently while sewing.)
