PFAFF® Piping Foot
Machine Compatibility: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L

Achieve professional, tailored finishes on your garments, home décor, or accessories using the PFAFF® Piping Foot. This versatile foot allows you to easily insert either packaged piping or your own handmade piping for enhanced visual detail and structural edge definition.

The specially designed groove on the underside of the foot precisely guides the piping or covered cord while you stitch, ensuring smooth, even results with minimal effort. Whether you are embellishing a cushion edge or adding decorative piping to a garment, this foot ensures neat and accurate results every time.

How to Stitch Piping into a Seam:

Snap on the Piping Foot.

Position the piping along the seam line on the right side of the fabric. Place the second fabric layer on top, right sides together.

Insert the fabric and piping under the foot so the piping aligns with the groove underneath.

Sew using a straight stitch, stitch length 2.5. The groove will guide the piping as you sew.

How to Create Your Own Piping:

Snap on the Piping Foot.

Cut fabric strips on the bias or cross-grain, wide enough to wrap around the cord with seam allowance.

Lay the cord on the wrong side of the strip and fold fabric over it.

Place the wrapped cord under the foot, with the cord aligned in the groove.

Sew with a straight stitch, stitch length 2.5, allowing the groove to guide the cord evenly.

Use your custom piping in any project by following the steps above.

TIP: When sewing the piping into a final seam, adjust the needle slightly closer to the cord to conceal the original stitching line for a clean look.

Please mention your machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
