Guide your seams with absolute precision using the PFAFF® Seam Guide Foot for the IDT™ system. This presser foot is designed to help you achieve consistent seam allowances throughout your entire sewing project, ensuring clean and professional-looking results.
The foot features a built-in metal guide positioned at a 5/8 inch (1.5 cm) distance from the needle, which is the most commonly used seam allowance in garment sewing. Additionally, the foot has four extra red markings to guide narrower seam allowances with equal ease and control.
Whether you are sewing garments, home décor, or piecing quilts, this foot is an essential tool for achieving perfectly aligned seams.
How To Use:
Snap on the Seam Guide Foot for IDT™ system.
Engage the IDT™ system.
Select a straight stitch.
Align fabric pieces right sides together for joining.
Position the fabric under the foot with the metal guide placed at the fabric edge for a 5/8 inch seam.
Begin sewing – the guide will keep your stitching straight and evenly spaced.
Use the red markings for alternative seam widths as needed.
