PFAFF® Sew-On Button Foot
Machine Compatibility: C, D, E, G, J, K, L
Easily attach buttons of all sizes with precision using the PFAFF® Sew-On Button Foot. This presser foot securely holds the button in place while your machine stitches it on with perfect alignment and tension. It’s especially helpful for attaching buttons on shirts, jackets, home décor items, and more.
Whether you’re working with two-hole or four-hole buttons, this foot helps make the process fast and uniform. If needed, you can also create a thread shank, allowing extra room under the button for thicker fabrics.
How To Use:
Mark the fabric where the button should be sewn.
Snap on the Sew-On Button Foot.
Lower the feed dogs to disable fabric feeding.
Insert the button between the black metal piece and the foot, ensuring the holes align in the cut-out.
Place the fabric under the foot.
Select the button sew-on stitch or zigzag stitch and set the stitch width to match the button’s hole spacing.
Turn the handwheel manually to test needle placement, ensuring it enters both holes.
Sew. The machine will automatically secure the stitches if using the sew-on button program. If using zigzag, sew across 5 times and tie off.
To add a thread shank:
Slide the plastic piece forward so it lies between the button holes before sewing. After stitching, pull it back, remove the button, and wrap the threads to form a shank.
Please mention your machine model in the order so we can send you the correct foot.
