PFAFF® Three Hole Yarn Foot for IDT™ System
MACHINE COMPATIBILITY: F, G, J, L

Create eye-catching embellishments using the PFAFF® Three Hole Yarn Foot, ideal for couching decorative cords or yarn onto fabric. Designed to guide three separate yarns through front openings and under the foot’s groove, this presser foot lets you easily stitch over them using wide 9 mm decorative stitches. It’s the perfect tool to add texture, color, and dimension to home decor, garments, or quilting projects.

The Three Hole Yarn Foot works seamlessly with the IDT™ system, ensuring consistent fabric feeding even with thicker materials. Use it to create custom trims or artistic accents in one smooth step. This foot is especially effective with stitches that move forward without excessive backward motion.

How to Use:

Thread your machine with regular or decorative thread on top and standard thread in the bobbin.

Select a 9 mm decorative stitch that uses mainly forward motion.

Using the included yarn threader, thread up to three cords or yarn strands through the holes in the foot before attaching it to your machine.

Check that the cords slide freely without resistance. If the yarn is too thick, switch to a finer type to prevent tension issues.

Snap the foot onto your machine.

Engage the IDT™ system.

Leave a 5 cm (2″) tail of yarn behind the foot.

Place a tear-away stabilizer under the fabric and position your project under the foot.

Sew slowly and carefully, adjusting speed as needed to maintain smooth fabric and yarn control.

Please mention your machine model when placing the order so we can send you the correct foot.
